A beautiful line drawn illustration based on your house photo, with a pop of colour or a black and white version! This is a perfect gift for a new home owner, anniversary gift or for your own home!
I carefully hand draw the house from the photo provided then I digitally colour the top and bottom to give it a lovely contemporary style. Alternatively, you can have the option without colour.
My process starts by digitally hand drawing the house and adding in the details. I then digitally enhance them using a palette of pastel and bold colours to make the final house illustration pop! Each print is produced in pigment ink on matte archival paper resulting in a high quality, light and moisture resistant artwork ready for you to frame.
Simply choose your colour and decide the size, either A3 or A4. I use two types of font for the house portrait, a standard lower case or uppercase classic font and a handwritten style font.
Non framed A4 and A3 prints are sealed in a clear bio-degradable sleeve with cardboard protection and delivered within a recyclable hard board backed envelope.
Framed prints are available in A4 or A3 sizes, black or white frames with mounts as shown in the pictures. They will be delivered in a wrapped, double board cardboard box with extended edges for impact resistance and corner protection. The frames will also have corner protectors. The overall size of the frames are:
A4: 42.5cm length, 32.5cm width
A3: 52.5cm length, 42.5cm width

1. Please send me a clear, central photograph of the house/building with no obstructions (i.e cars, caravans or trailers) via email at hello@designatnine.co.uk upon ordering.
2. Include all personalisation upon ordering. This could include:
- House number or name
- Name of the Street/Road/Close/Cul De Sac
- Area location
- Family name or persons name (if you wish to have a different message here then please let me know! This could simply be 'Our First Home' or 'My First Home' or even just the address for example, I'm happy to add any accompanying message with your house portrait).
- Moving in date, month or year.
3. I will only draw the house from the view from the photograph (i.e, the same perspective). It's a simplified drawing of the house and I will not include people/pets in the drawing. I won't accept any additional images of the house/building from different angles/perspectives to include in the drawing.
4. The drawing will generally be portrait but depending on the shape of the house/building, this may be landscape. I will confirm this with you before starting your drawing.
5. I'll send you a jpg image proof via email before shipping to make sure you're happy with the final image.
Please note shipping will take up to 7 days from when the order is placed. If you urgently need a print then please send me a message and when you require the print by and I can see what can do for you!
